Levizadik Buckins
Levizadik began his dance education at the Educational Center for the Arts. He is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina of the Arts under the direction of Ethan Shedel, Brenda Daniels and Warren Conover. Levizadik has performed professionally with the Winston-Salem Festival of Ballet in North Carolina, and frequently teaches nationally. This is his second season with River North Dance Chicago.
Levizadik’s hometown is Winston Salem, North Carolina, but spent many of his years training in New Haven, Connecticut. He began his dance education at the Educational Center for the Arts while attending the Cooperative Arts & Humanities High School. Levizadik has professionally performed with Rob Merantes Academy of Dance and Starship Dance Theater, and has trained under the direction of Ethan Shedel, Brenda Daniels and Warren Conover. Levizadik graduated from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 2012 and joined River North Dance Chicago in July of that year. Going into his second season as a company member, he would like to thank his family and friends for their love and support.
