Hanna is a graduate of Larkin H.S.'s Performing Arts Academy. She has been the recipient of many scholarships, including those from Point Park University and Western Michigan University. She has trained extensively in the Chicagoland area, and considers the artists she has worked under as some of the most influential people of her life. Hanna is grateful to be a part of River North Dance Chicago, which she has called home since 2004.

Hanna Bricston grew up in Elgin, IL and began her extensive dance training in the Chicagoland area. She studied at several institutions including the Lou Conte Dance Studio, Ruth Page Center for the Arts, and the Gould Academy of Dance Arts. Hanna has worked under the instruction of artists such as Laura Wade, Claire Bataille, Harrison McEldaway, Jeremy Plumber, Nirute Barodicaite, and Kelly Tonge, whom she considers as some of the most influential people of her life. Hanna has also been the recipient of many scholarships, including those from Point Park University and Western Michigan University. After graduating from Larkin H.S.’s Performing Arts Academy, Hanna joined River North Dance Chicago in 2004. While dancing with River North, Hanna has been recognized as a Princess Grace Nominee, featured in Dance Magazine 2012, and has been written about in numerous Chicago newspapers and magazines.  She has also served as the Choreographic Assistant to Frank Chaves’ 2013 work Havana Blue. She spent eight wonderful years with the company and after taking one season off, Hanna is thrilled to be back for her ninth season. Hanna has also been the lead Jazz instructor at Inspire School of Dance and Integrity School of Dance. She thanks all the amazing people in her life that continue to support her living her dream.
