Created for Hubbard Street Dance Chicago in 1989 (for which RNDC Artistic Director Frank Chaves was an original cast member), and inspired by the photography of Robert Longo, SUPER STRAIGHT is coming down is a fiercely physical urban meltdown of epic proportions. Set to an original score by Dutch composer Thom Willems, SUPER STRAIGHT is a postmodern masterpiece that requires a powerful dancer’s mastery of technique, versatility and speed.
